One of the first things that I encountered when I found out Conor had a learning difficulty was the feeling of being on our own, not knowing where to get help and that no body understand how he felt, how I felt, what our family was going through .

I think that as a parent with a child with learning difficulties you need to be able to talk to other people that understand that can relate to what you as a family go through at home.
